Lame Post

OK, I know that last post was lame but I was desperate and didn't have much to say.

Guess what...still don't have much to say!

It's raining out on my roses right now which is a good thing. I can never have too roses although I'll soon run out of room for anymore...very sad but true. If I have my way there will be an arbor in my yard by next spring with 3 or 4 new climbers starting their way up it. My neighbors are cooperating nicely even though they may not know...three huge maples have come down in the past two tears opening up the south end of my property to FULL SUN! That's three different neighbors, I couldn't ask for better!

Speaking of roses...I was listening to a radio preacher speak about the millennium this week and how we will rule and reign with Christ for those 1000 years in a perfect world. Someone...I said to myself and then to the Lord...has to care for the Rose Garden! and those roses will be free of black spot and aphids! Oh that would be rapture! It had never occurred to me that I could spend eternity in the garden(unless buried there) but then again, someone has to do it!

Yes it's the Dog Days of Summer...The Summer Doldrums...
Sweltering in the City...Swimming in Sweat (yuk!)...
Fry an Egg on the Sidewalk...Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer!

That's all I have to say...It's TOO STEAMY to be inspired...It's TOO HOT and I'm tired...
It's too &^$*K#@*!+=?}\ to be desired!

Celebrate Independence Day

Celebrate our Independence and Thank the Lord we are still "One Nation Under God".
Wether or not you affirm there is a God does not change the fact of His existence.
It is by God's grace and provision that we are the most powerful and wealthiest nation on earth.
I pray America will wake up and acknowledge the Lord God as our provider, as I fear His patience is coming to an end.

Christians may not be perfect, just as children do not always reflect their parentage, but God is perfect and just. His justice must be carried out in due time...our prayer should be of repentance and restoration for the wayward. To deny the sovereignty of God is to test His patience and grace which cannot and will not endure forever.

I didn't start out with the intent to preach...well...AMEN anyway!

Lest I forget...thanks to all those who served in the armed forces, many who gave their lives, and all who sacrificed so that I have the freedom to express myself today in this the greatest country on earth.

Don't drink Certain Soft Drink Brands after July 3-Fiction!
And what could be more American than COKE?
No worries here...drink up!
U.S. burger chains buying foreign beef?-Truth!
Nothing earth shattering here, but since it's nearly Independence Day I thought something "American" would be appropriate.
Well how much more American could hamburgers and McDonalds be?
I don't know how I feel about this one...what do you think?
