Senate passes 'partial birth' abortion ban

By Ann McFeatters, Post-Gazette Washington Bureau
WASHINGTON -- "This is a good morning," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., exulted yesterday, moments after his bill to ban what he calls "partial-birth abortion" sailed through the Senate on a bipartisan 64-33 vote.
The bill goes next to the Republican-controlled House, where it's expected to pass before the end of April, and then to the White House for President Bush's signature. Bush hailed yesterday's vote as an important step toward "building a culture of life in America."

Body Work

The Solara went into the body shop finally this morning and I'm in a silver Silverado for a week. Thanks to State Farm the whole deal should only cost me about $40.00.

I was hoping to do some early landscaping while I had the use of a truck but it's 13 degrees out there still at 9:00AM.

I will be able to pick up my new rose arbor and a bookcase for the office, space in the Toyota is comfortable but limited.

My car isn't the only body getting worked on today, I get two teeth pulled in a few minutes to make room for some "body" work in my mouth.

GALLERY UPDATE
The Gallery on my website has been down for a few weeks due to a server move and a software upgrade. The new version requires some additional software that I am waiting for my hosting company to install. I think all the photo files are safe...time will tell.
